All of our Tractive units are designed to push, pull and manoeuvre wheeled or semi-wheeled loads. Our Tractive Pusher is battery powered and designed to be operated by a single user. Its robust design means it can be operated in the harshest of environments.

Our electric tug units provide the power to move the load but have to be attached by a simple coupling interface to get your product from A to B. Pushing and pulling in a straight line such as in the movement of railed carts, kiln cart or train bogies, uses a fixed coupling system secured to the front of the Tractive unit. Steering applicationsrequires our 5th wheel arm arrangement that allows the Tractive unit to steer 90 degrees left or right. This is often used for towing wheeled trolleys, A-frame trolleys, stillages, roll cages or baggage trolleys.

We have a range of standard coupling systems but if none of these suit the application, our in house design team will propose a custom coupling to suit.
