The Tractive Power team were delighted to exhibit at the UK’s largest intralogistics and supply chain solutions event IMHX 2019 at the NEC Birmingham last month.
Tractive Power was one of 400 leading companies in attendance and we got the chance to show attendees our latest products plus our established range of battery-powered tugs.
Across the four days show visitors to IMHX had the opportunity to access a high-quality programme of educational seminars and conferences with leading speakers from the supply chain world.
Here are some of the highlights of the exhibition:
• A series of trade pavilions hosted by leading industry associations such as the United Kingdom Warehousing Association and Automated Material Handling Systems Association.
• Big Bang at IMHX – a tailored Skills Zone which highlighted the exciting career opportunities available to graduates and school leavers
• The Women in Logistics (WiL) Conference 2019, hosted by IMHX
Tractive Power Discuss IMHX Exhibition
Brendan Ratcliffe, Commercial Director at Tractive Power commented,
“Tractive Power was proud to exhibit our range of electric tugs and introduce our new products. The TP1000, TP2000 and TP3000 will all have optional power steering and wireless radio control. The new line means Tractive Power can move loads on castors up to 30,000KG and loads on rails up to 400,000KG. We now have what we believe to be the most comprehensive product range on the market.”
Due to the success of this year’s event, the IMHX Exhibition will increase its frequency to every two years, with the next event taking place between 14th and 16th September 2021 at NEC Birmingham.
IMHX Event Director Rob Fisher added,
“The greater frequency will enable the event – which is the UK’s largest international logistics solutions exhibition – to meet the demands of its exhibitors, who want more regular contact with potential customers, as well as its visitors, who need to keep up-to-date with rapidly evolving industry developments.”
“It is well publicised that the speed of change within logistics operations has never been greater. As the UK’s leading supply chain event, we cannot be left in the wake of this change. We need to be at the forefront of it – enabling discussion and debate and providing exhibitors with a dynamic platform where they can showcase cutting-edge solutions.”
As one of the world’s leading providers of electric tugs for a host of industries, including the automotive, food, railways and textiles industries; Tractive Power is delighted by this news and hopes to exhibit again in 2021.
